I have always worried about the kernals too. I have bitten off the soft ends and given them to my adult dogs. But not to any big quantity.

Give the pupcorn (petco) sparingly, it stopped Kodak up, I break them in half now. He's 3 lbs & the vet said that may be why he was having trouble going to potty. I gave him one a day as a reward for going outside to potty. Now I give him 1/2 then another 1/2 the next day. He ate a piece of popcorn that hit the floor as I was pouring from bag to bowl. He scooped it up and ran.
