Mojo has a silky coat and we are in the process of growing it back out (after a summer puppy cut) and it is takin FOREVER!

We are currently using PetSilk and like it, but have heard that Crowne Royal is awesome - so we may be trying it.

He goes to the groomer once a month, but we bathe at home about once a week. I too worry about over drying, so I use caution, but if you have a good shampoo/conditioner, I think it would be fine.

There are some great "inbetween" bath products you can find that might work well too. We always wash his face/feet/behind when needed - no matter how often it has to be done.
