I started a low-carb change Christmas morning...yes, on Christmas! All the holiday food was out of the way so what better time to start?! I did low-carb a few years ago and I got back into a size 6 in just 2 months, I felt so good but the mistake I made was going back to regular food once I lost the weight. There were a few things that got in my way and at the time it was easier to just eat rather than think about what I was eating so...back came my weight. Oh, and that's when we had that accident and I couldn't walk 5 miles a day for a loooong time so that didn't help either. This time I have a new approach to it all...I'll low-carb to lose the weight and then keep better track after it's gone to keep it off. I don't want to stay low-carb forever though...I'd love to be vegetarian but my husband won't give up his meat and that makes it hard. I only want to lose 20 to 25 pounds...depending on how I feel...so it shouldn't take long. Thank God for low-carb ice cream!! I'm gonna blossom out in the spring like a daisy...wearin' new (smaller!)shorts...no more winter thighs for me! |
