What would ever make you think of mixing breeds and why would you thnk family and friends would not dump them at a pound or shelter if they don't want them any more later on?
Read this article, it is a sad eye opener and good reason to think twice before considering breeding.

As a caution, someone I have known for a couple of years with two pet Yorkies decided to breed them. I didn't know they were not neutered/spayed. The owners intent was puppies for friends and family.
The female had her puppies, five of them. Four died within a few days of birth she came close to losing the mother, the surviving pup is being cared for by a kind Vet Tech who was willing to take on the task. We are still unsure if this sole pup will make it or not.
This was the first time this person ever tried breeding. If anything could possibly go wrong, it did which she was unprepared for and had no idea that what happened could possibly happen.
Both her Yorkies are scheduled for spay/neuter mid January.
