I've always thought it was cute to dress them, even when I didn't have one. Some people are just not use to it, but I find a lot of bigger dog owners buying trench coats, raincoats etc. Everyones's hopping on the dress up bandwagon.
Back in the day it was the poodle who reign supreme, then they minaturized them. Their hair would be cut different ways, nails polished, hair dyed, bows on the tail and ears. All I heard was, oh that is so cute even with the Maltese, because people assumd they were poodles.
They are cute dogs and look cute all dolled up. Soon as the yorkie paraded thru the door all dressed up, everyone had something to say. They would be like, what is that? or I know he don't have no clothes on. Now they are asking me where I got the item from, eventually they come around.
