Jaden is 4 pounds, I've never let him jump off of anything higher than say a foot and a half or so. His breeder said to me "if he can't jump up on it, he can't jump off of it" and he has never jumped up on my bed and I don't think he could if he tried...that's why it scared me so bad when he decided to take a flying leap of my bed

He seems perfectly fine though, how he's perfectly fine is beyond me, by all the means I can see he should've broken a few legs or worse. I'm just so glad he's all right. I think from now on he'll be sleeping in his crate on my bed or some type of bed where he can't get out until the morning.

at first she had trouble jumping up on the sofa, but that only lasted a couple of days before she got it, and even then i would put her down on the ground instead of her jumping off. then she started jumping off on her own...but our sofa isnt very high so i didnt think anything of it.
At night she sleeps on the bed with us, and used to let us know if she had to go to the potty. we were waiting until she got more potty trained to get her stairs. then one morning she jumped off the bed. i freaked out but she was perfectly fine. she walked away as if she had been doing it for years. now she jumps on and off the bed like a pro. (unless she's tired then she doesnt want to jump up hahaha). i still get scared every once and a while cuz we have hardwood floors, but she loves jumping! shes one tough cookie i guess! |
