We have been privileged to share the past 12 years with "Mozart", a mixed Shih-Tzu/Maltese/Silky. If the sire (champion Silky) had not kept getting out to 'visit' the mixed dam down the street - we wouldn't have Mr. Mozart. Though stubborn at times, he is such a gentle soul, whom we absolutely adore. Having said that, I will state emphatically that I would NEVER purposely cross-breed just for the end results. There are so many lovable, adorable mixes already here in shelters - waiting to love and be loved by a family. |
