Thanks, I think mama is just about done. She was in and out of the pen all day yesterday. i kept checking her and the babies and if it looked like they were trying to nurse, I got in the pen and made her lay down and stayed in there till they fell asleep. i am feeding them twice a day with the rice, karo and esbilac. They are growing. My smallest one is now 15 ounces. she does much better feeding them at night. I always 'tuck" all the dogs in about nine. Lights out and tv off. I never hear another sound till six in the morning except this mama dog. She wakes me about three times a night to go potty. One of the babies got it's head hung a couple of nights ago, hence the box liner but they have figured that out now. BTW, the dry food in the picture is mama's. They crawl in it and make such a mess. |
