Shelby & Seymour get baths once a week...... but they get "butt baths" between their regular baths. We use Chris Christiansen bath supplies which seem to work quite well. I haven't yet tried Cowboy Magic, but hear that it works good, too. I do think that too many baths may not be good for their skin......... that's why we try to do these spot baths.
Seymour's face and shoulder hair grew out MUCH quicker than the rest of his body...... his coat ended up really nice..... the sides grew out just fine. I would think that your furkids hair will probably do the same..... especially if the shoulder hair is growing long.
