did you get an x-ray? do you know how many pups and the position?
Have you whelped before?

If she is sitting up and rearing her head up she is having a contraction...they are not close enough to be real concerned...if this has all just started and you dont see a pup in about and hour or hour and a half you need to get her to the vet...Breeding a 4 lber to a 6.5lber is risky in itself...the pups may be too large for her to do natural birth...

keep her calm do you know if the water sac has come yet?
