I am not an expert here on dogs.....but it sounds like she is having contractions for the puppy to drop down into the birth canal......and she is probably very uncomfortable and she is scared too. Has the vet called you back yet? Maybe you can sit in the birthing area with her and get her to lay down....pet her and talk to her. Keep the phone with you so you don't miss the vet call.
My cat would actually rear up and arch her back when the contractions got really bad.........and before the hard labor hit she was acting weird....meowing alot, trying to hide, walking in circles.......so actually it sounds pretty normal to me what your dog is doing right now. |
