One last note.....
While it seems like the best idea, having him taken in and those disiduous teeth removed right now may not be the wisest.

The only reason I say this is because one: the appointment is coming up fast anyway, but more importantly two: because many vets will sometimes pull an adult tooth in such a small dog mistaking it for a disiduous tooth.


If you can pull back his gums and YOU can tell a definite difference between the adult teeth (if they've dropped low enough to appear significantly larger than the retained baby teeth) and the disiduous teeth, then I'd get him in sooner. But if even you are having a hard time, I'd think about just accomodating him until then-sounds like he's still eating and whatnot, just uncomfortable-and take him in on the 17th or whenever the appointment is.

When in doubt-call your vet!
