Default Ask before I bring Rocky

This mad me soo mad yesterday! I don't know if I'm just being stubborn, or if I have the right to be mad. Someone please tell me!

So today were going to my Grandma's for Christmas dinner. My aunt hasn't come around for the past few years for holidays. She's always tired or has another reason. Well this year she is finally coming over (Her hubby passed away over the summer, so I think it's because she doesn't want to be alone). Well I bring Rocky to all my family functions, and it's his first Xmas with me so of course he's going to come with me everywhere. My mom tells me that I "better call and ask if I can bring Rocky incase my aunt brings her rottwieler" I never met this dog, so I have no idea if her and Rocky would get a long, but I don't think it's right that Rocky is "second choice." My grandparents love Rocky, and not only that, I AM always there for EVERY holiday! Plus, after my grandparents I'm going to my parents to do presents with them. I probably won't be home until 8-9 tonight! I can't leave Rocky that long. I told my mom that I AM bringing Rocky, and I don't think it's fair that just because she might want to bring her dog, I would have to leave him home especially since I'm ALWAYS there and she hasn't been. Then my mom got pist at me, but I still am not budging. I'm happy my aunt is going to be there, it'll be good to have her back around for the holidays, but now I'm sitting here just wondering what's going to happen. If the dog is there and Rocky and her don't get along, I can pray that they will put the rott in another room, or I'll just hold Rocky and keep him in another room, or play outside with him (if it's not cold..haven't been out yet). I just don't understand why I have to be the one to leave Rocky at home
