I'm with you, I don't know why some breeders don't take the time an effort either. I usually shave ears all the way down on both sides by the 2nd week to help them stand up....if they aren't at least attempting to stand up by week 5, I start using the Breath Rite Strips......they're very unnoticable, so the puppies don't get at them, like when I used the paper bag and masking tape.
