I was glad to read your post. I tell myself that my two will not starve and will eat as they need to but sometimes it seems like very little is coming out of their bowl. Originally I was putting 1/4 cup a day into the bowl a day. Now, some days go by and I hardly see any gone. I still refresh it and toss the old stuff often, but it just does not seem like near enough is getting eaten.

They are 4 months and 2 months old. They act like they are starving when they get a treat after doing their business outside. So, I worry they are holding out wanting to subsist on treats. I am giving the tiniest pieces of treat (chicken sticks) and need that incentive for housebreaking. I have also been trying different kibble to find one they might like better. I would so much like to put a 1/4 - 1/2 cup in a bowl and see them just eat it all. I guess I am asking for too easy.
