Well, our local humane society is coming to get Mama and Pup today. Mama is going to be spayed. We called ALL of our neighbors and they said she doesn't belong to any of them.

We might, and that is a big might, keep the pup and the humane society said they will help us with his neutering costs if we do keep him. We already kept a pup that showed up here a few weeks ago (another drop off) and she had a sibling. We found a home for her sister and we kept her. Been calling her Gidget...not sure what kind she is. They said they will help us with spaying costs on her too.

Anyway, the only part that has me upset is the fact that they lady said she only takes in the cats and the dogs go to our local Dog pound and it ISN"T a no kill shelter. So we may be talking with her about fostering these two until permanent homes are found. I do not want them going to a shelter that isn't a no kill shelter...I am going to talk with the lady about getting Mama spayed and looking for someone willing to adopt her. They are going to be here around 10 am.
