Ah, the dreaded fire ants. The flea and tick meds must help them on this. We have a constant battle with fire ants and have often marveled that the dogs have never gotten bit. We, on the other hand, have often. Camphophenique is the best stuff -- just swab some on with a Q-Tip and it will take the sting away in no time. We treat our yard and still have to treat the individual hills that spring up. I think we just move them around and never get rid of them.
