Jaden is 4 pounds and gets fed 1/2 cup dry food for the whole day with a tiny bit of boiled chicken mixed in with his dry food to get him to eat it. I mix the chicken in twice a day but the dry food stays out all day.
Whatever dry food he doesn't eat I let it sit out until his next feeding. I would feed him between 1/4-1/3 cup a day. Normally you can tell by looking at them and watching them whether they need to eat more or not. If his energy level seems down, and he has eaten every bit of food you have out for him definitly give him so more food. But, if he seems energetic and normal and hasn't eaten all of the dry food you put out, don't worry about it, he'll eat in the morning or when he's hungry. Just be sure to leave it down for him so he has access to it when he wants it.
