Our groomer had to shave him down to the skin. He was so matted that it all came off in one piece!
She said he probably hasn't walked on the pads of his feet in years!
He looks like a little toothless Chihuahua right now, but he will have good hair when it grows out and he has proper nutrition.
Betty, the groomer, took him in 2 days before Christmas and didn't charge us 1 cent to groom him! I stood there and cried like a complete fool! There are so many good people in this world.
Thursday he goes for shots, neutering, and dental. I don't think he will be keeping any of the three teeth he has left.
Anyone out there going from I-65 down to Birmingham, AL anytime soon? If not, I'll drive him down there after he recovers from neutering, teeth, etc.
