suz | Hi, when my girls first learnt to sew, I had them hand stitch in the beginning and back stitch as they went along, They had no problem with it and it came out fine. On the fleece I think I would not do a real small stitch rather a little larger and then back stitch do another stitch back stitch, continue on this way. Have fun sewing. By the way there are good sites on here in learning to knit, if you pm me I can give you one that you might like. Patti |
