I'm the one who took the female puppy and I just wanted to write about my experiences with Maggie, her family and the dogs and pups.
Maggie was very helpful during our several days of communication, giving me full and informative answers to all my questions. I couldn't of asked for more.
Sophie (the girl I picked up) has been confirmed by two vets (mine & maggies) that she is indeed a healthy girl with all the signs of growing up to be a healthy dog.
Not only is she healthy but very well socialised, I met the whole doggie family and while Mum is a little high strung and obviously doesn't like strangers in the house and around her pups however the other dogs in the house are no worse the wear for Mums behavior.
Dad is a monster of a dog, but so adorable, friendly and warm. If he had fitted in my bag I think I might of taken him too.
All the pups I saw were very well socialised and Sophie wont let my lap go cold if I sit where she can reach me. All the dogs we saw were really snuggle monsters and love having their bellies rubbed while curled up in your arms or on your knee.
They are larger than standard, Sophie is almost 5lbs at nearly 12 weeks, I imagine she will be at least 15lbs fully grown having looked at the parents and her bone structure. But this is what I wanted and I think the price is VERY fair for Yorkie of this caliber.
Sophie has had no problems settling in, and started eating immediately (such a joy to see as my other dog is terrible at eating and has to be watched daily to make sure he eats) and has already stolen the heart of my Jacob (he brings her food gifts).
I would have no hesitation to recommend someone taking a look at the little male pup that is left.
