They're called X-Mats and work extremely well. If you're wanting to still let her roam like you are while away, then give these a shot and see what happens. And I'd get the one that has more nub coverage, otherwise w/ her petite legs (depending on how determined she is) she could just navigate through it, but I'd be awfully suprised if she would even want to.
When you're not using them, to store 'em, you can simply slide them behind the sofa or underneath.
And no, they're not sharp, but they are uncomfortable and effective.

I can't believe that she was so out of control at one point that she actually dared to use the potty on your tables and such too! omg that's wild.
