Just like any canned products, once you opened it you need to move the unused portion to a container (plastic, glass, whatever) and store it in the fridge. It should give you a life shelf of about a week or less.

Both my babies eat dry kibble mixed with wet dog food and this is what I do on a regular basis. They finish a can about 4 days so I just make sure they are stored properly so as not to get it spoiled and upset their tummy
