Charlie was a couch pooper. He did it on our bed once too (YUCK!) Keeping him crated whenever we couldn't keep our eye on him was the best preventative measure. We also had to leave him outside longer to be sure he had done is business. He would pee and then would come right back inside not realizing he'd have to poop in 3 minutes.

Does she have any kind of schedule? Charlie eats at the same time each morning and night so naturally he needs to poop at the same time each day. It's easier when they're on a schedule because then you know they need to poop before they do!

I would confine her when you can't keep a close eye on her, keep her on a set feeding schedule, extend the amount of time she's outside and keep an eye on her while she's out to be sure she goes.
