Jeannie, is she a fly by pooper?
The number one problem w/ you ushering her off the sofa is that if she doesn't go there, she'll likely go elsewhere. Sounds like she's doing it right in front of you sometimes...do you think you're missing her subtle cues to go potty? Is she actually eliminating everything when she goes out, or just peeing? She may act like she's done and ready to come in, but I'd start discerning when she's actually done and when she *thinks* she's done and not letting her back in accordingly. If she's pooping too many times in one day, then that could indicate another issue. Either too much food; poor quality food (for her, it could be a fantastic food, just not for her needs); or an underlying medical condition.
