My vet will keep them overnight after a spay unless you request to come get them and keep them quiet at home. Paula (vet tech) told me it usually upsets some to see their babies so out of it from the anesthesia that first night.

Venus rested a lot that first night, and I gave her water through a dropper, I was so worried about her. Later that night, she did eat a few bites of food. I also gave her some neutra cal, cause she hadn't had anything to eat in 20 hours!

But next day.....lookout! She was up, and raring to go!
