I don't take Joey shopping either.

He enjoys riding in the car and goes with me when I have to drop off my human kids somewhere. Otherwise, he only goes to places intended for dogs.

I absolutely do NOT understand the thrill of taking dogs to places where they aren't supposed to be. Maybe other people like the way having dogs with them makes them the center of attention? I don't.
