I've been catching this on the national news every night, as I have a friend from another board that lives in Denver.
He sent pics of the drifts on his home, the driveway and the back yard. Honestly, I could barely tell there was a car under all that snow! Said yesterday, he did get his driveway shoveled, but still can't go anywhere cause the streets haven't been cleared yet!
I feel really bad for the folks stuck at the airport! Said they had busses that would take them to a hotel, but they were the high dollar ones. So most are sleeping in the airport.
His pics blew my mind, as I live in the most southern part of AL, and we get snow like every 7-10 years. We haven't had any since 1997 here, and we don't get much when it does come. You build a snowman, they're won't be any snow left in your yard!
We have rain thats supposed to continue till the day after Christmas here.
