I don't want to take my dogs shopping - but not for the same reasons that you don't.

Most of the places (especially grocery stores) have a no pet policy - and I totally disagree with sneaking dogs into places that don't allow dogs.

Secondly - I'm not much of a shopper - so when I do shop - I just want to go and get it done. I don't really consider it a time to take my dog along. I don't like to take my dogs out in public to "show them off." (A lot of people do.)

I love to take my dogs visiting friends, neighbors, and relatives. And, we all love to going to the lake and occasionally to parks. These are the sort of places I take my dogs.

I saw a bunch of kids at the mall a few months ago - passing a little pup back and forth - acting and behaving like "young teenagers" do. I can't imagine their parents letting them take a young puppy out like that. It looked tired.....and they were feeding it things that they were eating. Not good! This little pup was being passed around so much - I don't even know whose dog it was.
