I know exactly what you mean about the fear of steping on him. My sister-in-law had a suggestion of how she knew where her tiny poodle was when she first got her --- she put a cat collar with a bell on the puppy. Wouldn't have worked for me with the two "terrier-ists" - they would have gone after the bells on each other, but with only one, it might help.
I know the experts say you shouldn't let puppies sleep in the bed with you --- but what do the experts know. |
Welcome to YT! I think everyone worries about stepping on their little one when you first get them ... just need to get used to having them around. But we did the same thing, we got a rabbit harness (b/c he's so little) that has a bell on it. So now we here a little jingle anytime the dogs are around ... hahaha... great for the holidays spirit btw
