i got my pup for a steal but that steal came with training and puppy chewing and teching him this and that and oh my ohmy the potty training, i mean if you dont have time to potty train and really work with one (and yes its a littel harder when you work) then i would get one thats all ready house trained and 7 months is still young, and they will still be able to bound with you just the same, prefereably in my situation i would have gotten the older one, but if you have the time and comitment then go for the puppy, good luck they are great dogs i love mine, hes turnes out great and smart
