I don't really have any advice regarding where to look. Someone recommended an insurance company to me and I just got life insurance for myself...but I had to complete a LENGTHY questionnaire about my current health and age because the premiums go up the older you are, if you have health issues, if you are a smoker, drinker, etc... The questionnaire also indicated that the company can reject you if you are considered too high risk. You may have to really shop around to find good rates, especially given your father's current situation
