I do agree somewhat. But I also beleive this. If you feed a high quality unlimited dog food, preferably dry, very limited junk, it will help your puppy mature to their highest potential. I think all puppies should be a bit chubby......

Not overweight, overweight isnt healthy. A bit extra like a human baby.
I believe daily rations of high calorie canned on a healthy puppy can cause overweight for sure, but as far as height, length it is purely genetic with even a diet causing excess weight. The dogs size wont be altered just the weight.
