I saw this on his foot last week however it was tiny and I didn't think anything of it...I just saw him chewing on his foot tonight and realized that it grew 5 times it's size. It looks so painful but I don't know what it is! It's higher than it looks in the picture. I tried cleaning it w/ a bit of hydrogen peroxide but it didn't do much he is still chewing on it. any ideas??? I definitely will take him to the vet tomorrow morning but just wnated to see if there are any ideas on what this might be. |
Poor baby.
It could be a myriad of things. You might want put gauze over it and then wrap it in some of that pet wrap...seen here:
http://www.petcompany.co.uk/acatalog/petwrapbandage.JPG so your baby doesn't knaw at it. Then go to the vet to have him/her look at it. Hopefully it's nothing, but it might need to be removed, drained, or infected.
