I think a puppy is either genetically inclined to be small or larger.
I dont think a puppy should ever be limited on food at anytime unless they reach adulthood and become overweight.
I think breeders saying that would encourage people to limit food much needed by the puppy. Besides that I dont beleive it for a minute.
A bunch of crock.....I think these breeders have done the puppy scam....lied about the age (done to make buyers think they're getting a wee one) for more money and telling unsuspecting buyers to limit food to keep them smaller (it doesn't work, they're going to be what they're going to be)......Yes, if you over feed they'll get plump
