Yorkies can be so different. Some are angels that like to lie on your lap all day, some run around like mad and get into all kinds of mischief, than there are all the ones in between. You can have one owner describe two so that you'd think they were not the same breed.
Mine isn't descructive but he would fall into the hyperactive little nut category.
He is always on the go, likes a lot of attention and requires a lot of wearing out or I will not get a good night's sleep.
Nothing naughty comes to mind but he was difficult to housebreak. I'm able to be home all day so I was on top of it but it still took a year (my first yorkie took two months).
I don't think many yorkies like to be alone but not all of them like to cuddle on laps. Gus is very affectionate but not much of a lap dog. He likes to be near me all the time though and loves to give everyone kisses.
He is the dominant dog in our house.
