I just got my daughter and my hubby one...You need to get a car I trip to connect it to... It plugs into your car and it plays through the radio...Cost was 70.00 for the Itrip... Or you can get an I trip to play on any radio...but that does not charge your Ipod...It works off the battery. I have the old mini ipod and i bring mine in the car all the time. If you do though... make a play list and just put it on before you start to drive. You don't want to be messing with it while your driving!!!!
