Yep I totally agree with you. It took the ferret some time to eat off those toes. I know that a baby's skin is tender but that whole scenario is just too weird for me. They were high as kites on something.
I don't know any first time mom that has a baby that young that a mouse farting doesn't wake her. You don't sleep that sound no matter how tired you are.....especially that the baby was right next to them.
No way on earth.
