Since your pup is young, I would think they would get along just fine with a kitten. Usually older cats are set in there ways about dogs & usually don't care for them. Our cat which was 3 when we got our puppy doesn't like our dog at all, however, our dog plays with the kittens out at the farm so I think it's all about growing up together.
