As the conversations proceeded, she made it clear that 1) her husband was not entirely sold on the idea of having (or paying for) a pup and 2) she didn't have enough money to fix the one car in the family in order to meet me halfway to see the pup. The one weekend I was available, her son had the car. As politely as I could, I told her I did not feel comfortable selling her a pup as I was worried that 1) her husband would not be happy about it, and 2) How was she going to get it to the vet if she didn't have a realiable car that was at her disposal every day. She ripped me a new a**h*** in a scathing email about what a wonderful home the pup would have had, etc., etc. At first, I felt a little guilty, but decided to never look back and am so glad she did not end up with one of my babies. As far as I can tell, she no longer posts here. In this situation, it didn't matter to me if they were papered, spayed/neutered or not, she was not getting one of my darlings.

As a follow-up, I've noticed this same person now has a new thread here looking for a pup. I'm hoping everyone with puppies for sale checks out potential buyers with care.
