If my 4-pounder Jack can do it, yours can too! I had the same fear when we first got him. I honestly thought it was too cold for his tiny body. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized he should be able to stay outside for the minute it takes to do his business. So I made him do it. I was firm. He got no praise, no treats, no love unless he went outside and did his business. It worked.

And I don't take the time to put booties or coats on him for that. Pee breaks are not worth my time. I only dress him up for longer walks.
