I have had my own business for over 10 years now. My first business credit card was an American Express corporate card. It has served me well. American Express was also my first personal card. It seems that once you get this one, it is easy to obtain others if you need them. I also have an Advanta card and they are great to deal with for business use. As far as fuel goes, I just use personal cards, Shell and Chevron primarily. Good luck with the business!
