Hi guys,

Im not at the point yet, on getting my yorkies (have to have 2, to keep each other company). Im at the researching stage and learning a lot.

Ive got two parrots, 16 and 17 years old. Does anyone have parrots and yorkies ? How do they get along ? Mine do not climb off their cage playpens, but, they do on a rare occasion, maybe once a year, take a flight around the house. I have two older lab mixes and I recently lost my 17 year old mini schnauzer. They were trained to "freeze" if a bird took flight. Hubby or I would say "freeze" and they did. That way no one ever got hurt.

Am I being reasonable thinking this would work with a yorkie ? Or would they attack the parrot ?
