 Cali scared me so bad today.
I was letting Maya out the front door as I usually do, since she hates to go out the back in the little fenced area, and if I don't pick Cali up to take her with she stays in and watches out the all glass storm door. Well today she decided for the first time ever to run out after us. I didn't realize it until I looked behind me and she was running after Maya. The teenage girl next door was out front and her friends were leaving in 2 big white SUV's. I screamed for then to stop and Becca the teenager ran over to help me corner Cali. SHe kept going around one side of the car in the driveway and Becca would try and get her then she would run to the other side and see me and run the other way. Finally I yelled Cali go home and she ran right to the front door and I got her in!!! My heart was racing. I don't know if Becca hadn't been there to help me keep herr out of the street if she would have taken off. I want to get her a little something, as I think too many teenagers get a bad rap, to thank her for helping me. Any ideas? |
