When I read something that I find a bit "odd" or "not so true" with what I know.......I brush it off and don't let it bother me. Sometimes people speak because of a personal experience they have had and maybe that one comment was coming from someone that had a "bad" experience with a small unhealthy yorkie. I have a 6 1/2 pound yorkie and a 10 1/2 pound maltese. They play great together but if I had a smaller Yorkie, I would worry. He is full "terrier" (Toby the terror is what we call him but he is so sweet too) and so plays a little on the rough side. The maltese is gentle when they play but has a considerable weight advantage. I find that Yorkies are such "attached" dogs that he is under foot ALL the time where as the Maltese lays on the back of the couch watching from her perch. Special people should have the "special" small yorkies as there are other considerations that have to be thought about as many have mentioned in prior posts. Small yorkies are adorable but we all have our preferences as to size, breed, and the sex. Enjoy your baby and let the comments that offend you go in one ear and out the other. Take advantage of the "good" suggestions and comments that so many have left regarding small yorkies.

And by the way, WELCOME TO YT!!!!!
