OK, I admit - when I was shopping for my pup, I did (think) I wanted a tiny one - around 3/4 pounds. But...that's when ignorace was bliss! lol My Abbie is 6lbs at one year old, and I hope she doesn't grow anymore. If she does, that's fine; but, it just makes it easier on my back (being a decreped old lady that I am) to have a lap dog that is acutally carrying size. If she grows more, she just won't be wagged around by me, that's all.

I do NOT, however, have any patience with people pushing under-standard sized pups for $$$$, and if I'm blessed to get another Yorkie, I will look for a breeder whose line is within standard. Though I don't advocate seeking out smaller pups, and

on supply/demand making the market more open for tinies to be bred; I DO applaud those who give these l'il guys'n'gals homes. The amount of care and worry must be very nerve-wracking.
just my
