AprilLove is 11 months and has stayed at 3 1/2 lbs since about 8 months. She is getting beefier but not gaining. I agree with some of the posts about the smaller ones and worrying more. I know I have nearly stepped on her at least a dozen times when she was a little smaller, they tend to be right under your feet

I have learned and taught anyone who comes into my home, to get used to looking down and doing the "Yorkie Shuffle" is standard around here. LOL I also have to look down and back and double check anytime I shut a door because she almost got her little nose smashed in one recently.
I have a 5.5 lb maltese and I don't remember having to worry as much with her. (Although, she is white and much easier to see!!) I also have a 24 lb Bichon, and I have to say, all three of these dogs are small dogs. I love them if they are fat or skinny or small or big. As long as they are healthy the weight doesn't matter. I do luv the cuddle factor of the small ones and the portability.
