Found these tips on the internet, thought I'd share them here since we're all getting new babies and need to be aware of the signs of Hypoglycemia

Symptons for Hypoglycemia:

Limp or Lethargic (a good way to tell if your puppy is acting lethargic or just sleepy is to make a noise while they are "resting" clap your hands or shut a book, anything to get their attention, if they don't respond or look up they
are lethargic and need to see a vet immediatly)

Tongue or gums are grayish blue not pink

Diarahea and Vomitting

Hypoglycemia can be brough on by stress which can easily happen from moving from one home to another, esepcially if your baby is quite young. If you are aware of the signs and catch it and do something about it, it won't be a big deal. However, if you are unaware of the signs and do nothing it could be deadly. Make sure your new puppy does eat during its first day at your home. If they do not eat their blood sugar can drop rapidly and become dangerously low and the symptons mentioned above can start happening. If this does happen give them a small amount of karo syrup or nutrical and have your puppy seen by a vet ASAP.
