I got Andy on 1 Dec. He was 7 1/2 months old. Two weeks later, he follows me or Ginger where ever we go. Within a week, I couldn't leave him here alone. Gin knows to follow me when I leave in the evening without my uniform, he wouldn't follow one night, so I thought I would just leave him, we were only going to be gone 20 minutes. My husband called me within minutes to come get him, he was crying. So I would say you don't need to worry about the bonding issue.

As for the potty trained? It seems to be true that trained at one house doesn't mean trained at another. And with males? Trained per room as far as marking goes. If you neuter him, it might help the marking process.
