How long can you leave the topknot band in without matting & breaking the hair? Thanks

Get some cowboy magic and start brushing, you are right your groomer will not want to comb out your dogs matts. It is going to take some time and in the end you will get them out or you will know how hard it is to get them out. If you have to resort to a groomer and she does get them out, you will need to give her a very big tip. Sometimes it is the nicest and most humane thing to do , just cut them off. When your dog is wearing clothes you must take them off every day and make sure you comb all the hair out to avoid the matts. Good luck!!!
